GuluWalk is back in San Francisco, California for 2007! Last year, San Francisco participants not only provided a voice for peace in northern Uganda, their fundraising results helped towards the raising of over $500,000 for children's programs on the ground in the war-torn region. GuluWalk San Francisco is looking to provide even bigger and better support in 2007. Join in the push for peace!


2007 GuluWalk Details

GuluWalk Date: Saturday, October 20, 2007

Start Location: Pier 39 (on The Embarcadero). There are two parking garages on The Embarcadero and some free parking down Jefferson but it is hard to find a spot so it is best if walkers come prepared with cash.

Registration Begins: 9:00am

GuluWalk Start Time: 9:30am

Walk Route: From Pier 39, we will head west on Jefferson (extension of The Embarcadero). We will turn on Lavenworth which leads to Columbus St. and walk about 1.5 miles down Columbus. Then we will turn onto Washington St. and then Battery St. which leads to Market. Then we will head back to The Embarcadero and end at Pier 39.

End Location: Pier 39

Distance: Approximately 4.5 miles.
