Event Details: Come join the 5th annual Washington, DC GuluWalk to benefit children in northern Uganda! Arrive early to register, pick up your gear and learn how to become more involved in advocating for peace for children affected by one of Africa’s gravest violent crises.
This year we’ll be joined by special guest Betty Bigombe, former peace mediator in northern Uganda!!
Start location: John Marshall Park, off Pennsylvania Ave. & 3rd St. NW
Registration: Begins at 11:30am
GuluWalk Start Time: Walk begins at 12:30pm
GuluWalk Route: Walkers will proceed down Pennsylvania Ave., up 15th St. NW, pass in front of the White House, south on 17th St. NW, and then west on Constitution back to John Marshall Park.
