This year, GuluWalkers are building the new Gulu Youth Cultural Centre — a structure that will bring the community together. The facility will include a theatre, a training ground and a central hub of activity that will promote locally led approaches to arts, culture, justice and ultimately peace.
GuluWalk has been granted a plot of land on the property of the Paramount Chief of the Acholi, Rwot Acana II. It is through that partnership that we aim to be a builder, brick by brick, for northern Uganda.
As listed below; more than 70 cities committed to walking on October 24 2009. You have made this year’s walk possible. Thank-you.
