Founding Builders

When you sign up for GuluWalk this year, and raise $500 online, you have a chance to become a ‘Founding Builder.’

Two of our GuluWalk 2009 ‘Founding Builders’ are going to receive the ‘thank-you of a lifetime’ -
an all-expenses paid trip to tour northern Uganda with us in the spring of 2010.

How do I become a ‘Founding Builder’?

Register for GuluWalk 2009,  hit the $250 fundraising mark and you officially become a ‘builder’, and will receive the exclusive ‘builder t-shirt’.

Become a ‘Founding Builder’ by being one of the first 500 people to (i) register for GuluWalk 2009 online and (ii) raise an additional $250 (for a total of $500) or more online before the October 22nd deadline. That’s it.

And remember, there are only 500 places to join this exclusive group. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.

What does it mean to become a ‘Founding Builder’?

As a ‘Founding Builder’ you have to be one of the first 500 walkers to raise $500 online in support of GuluWalk 2009. This is an exclusive group. As a founding builder, you will:

1. Be recognized as a ‘Founding Builder’ of the Gulu Youth Cultural Centre through a public media release and you will be permanently honoured online here on our site.

2. Earn a 1-in-500-chance to get the ‘thank you of a lifetime’ - an all-expenses paid trip to tour northern Uganda with us in the spring of 2010. This will be a random draw to recognize one of our amazing ‘Founding Builders’.

3. And, the ‘Founding Builder’ who is the top overall individual fundraiser, at the October 22nd deadline, will also earn that same ‘thank you’ trip and will join us on our journey to northern Uganda.

The ‘Founding Builder’ trip to northern Uganda

The top individual fundraiser and the randomly drawn ‘Founding Builder’ will receive a seven-day tour of northern Uganda for one person that will include: six-nights accommodation; all travel/transfers in Uganda; a two-day safari to Murchison Falls; a daily meal allowance and international economy airfare for one person to Uganda.

This trip will take place in the spring of 2010, with the dates to be set to best accommodate both ‘Founding Builders’.
