GuluWalk is back in Charlottesville, Virginia for 2007! Last year, Charlottesville participants not only provided a voice for peace in northern Uganda, their fundraising results helped towards the raising of over $500,000 for children's programs on the ground in the war-torn region. GuluWalk Charlottesville is looking to provide even bigger and better support in 2007. Join in the push for peace!


2007 GuluWalk Details

GuluWalk Date: Saturday, October 20, 2007

Start Location: UVA Ampitheater

Registration Begins: 4:00pm

GuluWalk Start Time: 5:00pm

Walk Route: From the UVA Ampitheater to the downtown mall in Charlottesville and back.

End Location: UVA Ampitheater

Post-walk Events: Raffle results, as well as some closing remarks and a thank-you to participants. Additional merchandise sales and donation opportunities, as well.


Pre-GuluWalk Events & Updates

Prior to the walk, there will be poster-making, a cappella group(s), a speaker, and a few remarks about Guluwalk and UNICEF-UVA.
